Voice over Wireless IP (VoWIP)

Voice over wireless telephone solutions allow calls to be made and taken anywhere - saving time, improving customer service and increasing employee safety. There are two technology solutions one based on Wi-Fi (Polycom SpectraLink) and one based on DECT (Polycom KIRK).   The Wi-Fi technology solution is often referred to as Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWi-Fi).

The KIRK IP DECT solution offers advantages over SpectraLink Wi-FI solutions. The wireless DECT handsets and infrastructure assure fixed line quality for mobile employees with no interference issues from 2.4GHz systems.
